Early this morning (as from 8:00 a.m GMT) were held the first qualifying rounds of the Melbourne Cup (Flat), the Liverpool Cup (Hurdles) and the Stockholm Cup (Trotting), with each
of these 3 Cups having and impact on the rankings of the World Championship. The title of World Champion is awarded to the stable which scores the most points during the finals of the 3 Cups (the finals are held each month on the 27th).
Main Trotting event of the evening:
The Quick Williams Derby is a Golden Race in the Trot discipline with the following peculiarity: it is run over a new distance of 2600m. So it is a race where the talent and experience of the "drivers" are clearly in the spotlight.
It is for horses aged 6, having less than €20 of net earnings. The NewTurf's sponsorship for the race amounts to €14.
